The Beaches at Crescent Head
Pristine beaches that stretch on for miles, rocky headlands and tidal estuaries all await exploration or a lazy day soaking up the sun.
Front Beach runs north to Hungry Head. Back Beach reaches south to Racecourse Headland, Delicate Beach and Headland followed by Point Plomer.

For the kids there is always the relative safety of Killick Creek, which has many pleasures in store for the little ones. Including the odd wave gently rolling up the creek.
Surfing at Crescent Head
Crescent Head is well known throughout the surfing community as home to some of the best surfing to be found on the Australian east coast.
Several world class surfers learnt their trade riding the local breaks as they grew up in our village.

Fishing at Crescent Head
Beach, Rock, Estuary and Offshore Fishing are all available for you to wet a line.
The locals know all the top spots, as well as whats biting when. So all you need
to do is ask one of the friendly local fishing fanatics, and you’ll be straight
onto that fine catch for the dinner plate.

Fishing Tackle and Fresh/Frozen Bait are all available for purchase here in Crescent
Head's village. The young ones need not feel left out either, as Killick Creek
is a great place for a youngster to drop in a line for their own fishing adventure.
Sports at Crescent Head
The Crescent Head Country Club sports a unique 6 Hole Golf Course laid out across the main headland overlooking the village.
The Country Club also provides 2 Lawn Bowls Greens and 2 Floodlit Synthetic Tennis Courts for social play.

Bushwalking in & Around Crescent Head
Virtually surrounded by National Parks, you won’t go far for that "back to nature"
experience.
Hat Head National Park runs all the way the north through Hungry Head and on to Hat Head.
Delicate Reserve and the Big Hill area to the south are littered with walking trails
which is followed by Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve.

Many Australian Flora and Fauna species can be found in the valley in abundant
quantities, including many rare native orchids.
Entertainment in Crescent Head
Situated on opposite sides of the Crescent Head roundabout are the two local
watering holes, which play host to local & visiting Bands.
The Crescent Head Country Club has the usual Bars, Games Room, TAB & small Auditorium.
As well as providing for many of your sporting requirements with its outdoor facilities.

Entertainment in Crescent Head
The Crescent Head Tavern has a very casual atmosphere, with a wide open Bar Area
overlooking the rest of the facilities, including plenty of tables and chairs.
The Tavern also boasts an outdoor drinking area set above street level for a relaxing cold one.

Shopping in Crescent Head
Several Restaurants are open in the evenings catering to your dining requirements,
with local fresh seafood a speciality of many. The usual assortment of take away
foods are readily available at several outlets.
For those with a sweet tooth, the local Cafes and Bakery will tantalise your taste buds.
Surf Shop, Newsagent, Grocery Store, Arts & Crafts as well as many other retail
shops are spread throughout the village providing most things desired.

Most hard to get items can be found in Kempsey, only 18 kms away. Port Macquarie,
another 50 km south, can supply that big city shopping experience.
